John 15:15 • I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
What if they… • Refuse or are unable to identify their problem--- or even acknowledge there is a problem? • Refuse or are unable to identify the people who were hurt by their behavior? • Don’t follow through and clean up their mess? • They still see themselves as ‘slaves’… More time is needed in this Culture of Honor • They aren’t ready to ‘lead’ others yet… “Go around the mountain again” until it falls away! • You aren’t ready to lead anyone until you’re ready to love them more than you love yourself…

The Call… • My yoke is easy and my burden is light… • Have you been ‘cleaning up other people’s messes?’ • How has this impacted you? • How has this impacted them?
Jesus wasn’t afraid… • The “Culture of Honor” honors people by allowing them to “own” their actions and clean up their messes. Can you think of examples where this is modeled by Jesus? • What fear makes us want to ‘clean up other people’s messes?
