Many British soliders were killed 8 December 1941 Japanese soliders landed on the east coast of Thailand, Kota bahru in the nothern of Malaya. Same day Kota Bahru’s airfield was in the hands of the Japanese 10 December 1941 Two British warships were bombed and sunked. Ships names Prince of Wales and Repulse from British naval base. After these sank they didn’t have anymore ship to send over to stop the Japanese from landing onto Malaya 17 December 1941 Bombs fell in crowded streets in Penang. Half the streets was on fire and 100 people were killed. The japanese took small boats to land on Malaya.
11 January 1942 31 January 1942 Johor was captured by the japanese within 55 days. The brithish then moved back to Singapore. They put bombs in Causeway that linked Malaya and Singapore. British abandoned Kuala Lampur to save Johor 9 Feburary 1942 The japanese repaired the Causeway on the 31 January 1942 7 Feburary 1942 To mislead the british they attacked Pulau Ubin. Brithish thought that they would attack Sin gapore from the notheast. 8 Feburary 1942 Japanese landed on the northwest coast. They used rubber boats and rafts to cross the narrow point of the Johor Strait to reach Singapore

In the end the british lost the battle. 12 Feburary 1942 Fort Siloso was also attacked. The British succeeded by sinking one ship of theirs. 13 Feburary 1942 Fierce battle at Pasris Panjang. The Malay soliders also fought this battle led by Lieutenant Adnan bin Saidi. 14 Feburary 1942 The Japanese went into the British Military hospital and started killing everyone
