  12. Advanced Placement (AP) * High School courses aligned with AP curricula and exams * AP Exams offered in May ($75.00 each) * Scores may earn college credit and/or advanced standing

  13. Cooperative AcademicPartnership Program (CAPP) * College courses taken in high school * Students pay tuition to the credit granting institution * Grade/credit earned upon course completion * Transcripted credit may be submitted to colleges * NHS instructors are prepared to help you.

  14. World Languages Many universities award retroactive credits in world languages.

  15. Youth Options Program High school students can take classes not offered at the high school at a university or technical college. State Statute governs the process. School District pays the tuition for approved students.

  16. Dual Credit Determination for Youth Options 1-college credit = .25 high school credit College credit earned = Transcripted Credit May be submitted to colleges Deadlines: March 1st, for Semester 1 October 1st, for Semester 2 (STRICTLY FOLLOWED)

  17. Advanced StandingHigh school courses which provide partial fulfillment of the requirements for an Associate Degree or a Vocational Diploma program at one of the Wisconsin Technical Colleges

  18. NEWOCS Online Courses Northeast Wisconsin Online Charter School (NEWOCS) Offers a variety of online courses to expand learning opportunities for Sheboygan Area School District students. Students may enroll in courses not currently offered in the school, including Advanced Placement

  19. Weighted Grades(Determine Class Rank, Honors Diploma, Valedictorian) • Create a “maximum” grade point average • 44 grades are used after 7 semesters • More than 44, lowest will be removed • Up to 12 honors grades can be used • More than 12 honors, reduced to regular
