  3. Pain Point Addressed. • The middle aged Indian is a ticking time bomb when it comes to health and overall wellbeing. We are increasingly making more money but confused when it comes to food. My aim to provide a healthy alternative to dairy products thereby offering wider choices to the end consumers. • Healthy alternatives to saturated fats, cholesterol laden foods thereby increasing the quality of life of customers. • Industrial methods are not very sustainable as the focus is on margins and not the quality. We aim to change that. • Overall the idea is to bring innovative products to reduce/eliminate obesity, cardiovascular, diabetes and other lifestyle related diseases with food as well as exercise awareness • To make India the center stage for Tofu, tempeh, seitan and other products as the penetration and awareness is very slow but steadily growing YoY. • Environmental impact and carbon footprint reduction .

  4. Value preposition • To ensure tofu & peanut curd as a healthier and viable alternative to a dairy obsessed nation • Plant based High Protein, highly affordable product for masses. • Health products, nutrition counselling, waste management and recycling .

Solution • Quality dairy alternatives for masses via super market, apartments, gyms and corporates. • Workshops and knowledge dissemination on healthier eating. • Oil free, nutrient dense ready meals with innovating packaging • In-house R&D, creating new product lines and reaching out to even those who have no access to internet with balanced nutritious meals

  6. How would you explain your ability to build this venture ? • Before starting up with the venture and the launch , I have taken feedback from some customers who actually substituted paneer by the tofu made by me. To summarize, my products have the customer validation. • The products are being tested and sold in hotels, restaurants, B2B sellers, individual consumers with an overwhelming positive reviews and excellent customer retention.

  7. What help are you seeking for NSERL (except Funding)? • Mentoring. • Understanding FMCG partnerships, sales and distribution knowledge. • Help with technical know- how for increasing shelf life without adding preservatives • Help with packaging solutions that minimize waste and also increase shelf life. • Peer to peer networking and knowledge sharing with already accomplished entrepreneurs

  8. How far have you progressed with your idea • Products developed: Tofu, Peanut Curd, Herbed Tofu, Soy Curd. • Distribution Chain: 4 app based B2B marketplaces to distribute across Bangalore. • Recipes: 10 oil free tofu recipes developed, some recorded & published , rest are in pipeline.
