Qualifications to Vote • Citizenship • Undocumented immigrants are generally denied the right to vote, but any state could allow them to vote if it so chooses • Residence • Must be a legal resident of the state where you want to vote • Age • According to the 26th Amendment, the minimum voting for each state has to be no higher than 18 • Registration • All states except North Dakota require registration to vote
