This workshop held at the University of Maribor in July 2007 focuses on the organization and role of Study Affairs Office, including necessary knowledge and competences of graduates as per employers. It covers accreditation procedures, ECTS evaluation, and management of study programs. Topics include composition of UM boards, international comparisons, and financial planning. KEY TASKS OF STUDY AFFAIRS OFFICE • Giving advice to university members when preparing new study programs during all accreditation procedure. • Composition of internal help samples and offering training for those who prepare the applications (internal forms and instructions, samples published on the internet, internal educations, …). • Revision of application for study programs’ accreditation, writing remarks (are reviewed 2 to 6 times!!!), discussions with proposers. • Composition of appropriate materials for UM boards (Commission for Study affairs and Senate) and Counsel for Higher Education. • Manage received, reviewed, treated, accredited and offered study programs. www.uni-mb.si→Študij na UM→Bolonjska deklaracija
