  2. Why “Ethics Matters”? • Ethics matters in every day’s running of Health Care. • Ethical reflections in health care are as diverse as the many aspects of health care itself. As science, technology and medicine evolve, ethics follows directly behind, making sure the right questions are asked. Thalia Arawi/ Ethics Matters

Goals of “Ethics Matters”? • The general goals of “Ethics Matters” are to: • Raise and enhance the general awareness of the AUBMC community of the importance and relevance of ethical issues in health care • Provide opportunities to stay abreast of new developments in biomedical ethics • Complement and support the educational role of the Ethics Committee Thalia Arawi/ Ethics Matters
