DESCRIPTION

Amanda C. Hood, Assistant Principal at Spain Park High School, is dedicated to enhancing academic success. Currently completing her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, she aims to improve her skills in utilizing technology for effective presentations. With a master's degree from the University of Montevallo and an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Troy University, Amanda is passionate about leading by example for her teachers. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud adoptive mother of four children from Ukraine, aged 10, 9, 6, and 4.

  3. Major • Completing my Educational specialist degree in Educational Leadership • Attended UM for my masters in Educational Leadership • Attended Troy University (TSU) for my undergraduate degree in secondary education-math/history.

  4. Hopes for this Class • I hope to be able to learn how to utilize more programs that will aid me in presentations that I use on a daily basis in my job. • My teachers are becoming more and more savvy with technology and I would like to be able to serve as an example for them!

  5. Interesting Info • This is my final course in my degree program. • I have four adopted children from Ukraine. Their ages are 10,9, 6, and 4.
