  1. Who is DropTaxi? DropTaxi is an Inter-city taxi booking facilitator. It is owned and operated by Sanviv Services Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, having its registered office at Plot No 299 / 300, 12th Cross Street, Jayendra Nagar, Sembakkam, Chennai - 600073. It is involved in Supporting and auxiliary transport activities; activities of travel agencies. DropTaxi is a web/mobile-based platform for booking outstation cabs. It is a fully-featured taxi software application that empowers anyone to start up and run an online on-demand location-based taxi business. We have developed DropTaxi to be easy to customize, set up, and run. Users booking one-way drop trips can pay the fare as per the distance and time involved in one way trip. We started this venture out of a personal pain point of having to pay two way charges for a one way drop trip. Market taxis charge two-ways, usually citing the reason of returning empty. Every major routes is covered with our one way policy terms By harnessing information and communication technologies, we have disrupted the conventional practice. Since inception in 2014 we have served 1,320,500 Customer, and in the process, have saved close to Rs.19 crores for them. DropTaxi indeed saves up to 40% to customers for drop trips. Round trips are also available at competitive rates. Taxi Service Major Routes DropTaxi offers assured one way drop trips in the following cities, provided you book your DropTaxi at least 6 hours in advance. Chennai – Trichy Approximate distance 330 km. Very good highway. All major towns on the route can be bypassed. 5- hour drive time on a normal day. 6 Tolls in between. Approximate toll charges Rs 350 for one way. Plenty of choices of Veg and Nov refreshments. Vegetarians can try the ONLY COFFEE restaurant (after 10 km from Maduranthakam from Chennai side) Haritham ( 5 km after Acharapakkam) and Ashwins ( 5 km after Perambalur) Non Veg fare can be tried at Junior Kuppanna ( 15 km before Villupuram).

  2. Religiously inclined Hindus can take a short detour from the highway 20 km from Villupuram and visit Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Perumal temple at Parikkal. Some of our customers buy farm-fresh vegetables at the weekly Shandy on Sundays at Madapattu (15 km from Villupuram) and Mailam Koot Road (15 km from Tindivanam) Chennai – Pondicherry There are two routes. One through the National Highway (preferred if you travel from the Airport or Southern suburbs of Chennai) and the second through the scenic and beautiful East Coast road. Approximate 150 km. 2.5 hours’ drive on a normal day on both routes. Toll charges approximate Rs 150. Plenty of Veg and Non-Veg refreshment options are available on both routes. On the ECR route, one can take a break at Muthukadu (50 km before Pondicherry) for a half an hour boat ride in the backwaters. Chennai – Bangalore Distance approximate.is 350 km. Prefer to take the road via Tambaram Manimngalam Sripreumpudur if you are traveling from the Airport or southern suburbs of Chennai. Saves a lot of time and distance and you can avoid one toll plaza near the Hyundai factory. Toll charges Rs 350 for one way. Expect traffic congestion up to Kanchipuram as this stretch is a heavy industries cluster. Travel time is 5.5 hours on normal days. Plenty of Veg and non Veg refreshment options like Murugan Idly ( 20 km before Ranipet Toll ) and Ambur Briyani at Ambur. Trichy – Coimbatore Distance approximate 210 km. Takes 3.5 hours. Toll charges Rs 80 for one way. Lots of Veg and Non-Veg refreshment options are on the way. More so, if you go into Karur town. Coimbatore – Madurai Approximate distance 220 km. Via Palladam Dharapuram. Travel time is usually 3.5 hours. Lots of dining options both Veg and Non-Veg with authentic local taste. If you have time, take a break and visit the famous Murugan temple at Palani.

  3. Luggage Policy We understand luggages are not only suitcases. They are of different shapes and sizes. Table below is only indicative.
