Fire Incident Response at Boeing Vertol Site - April 13, 2014

On April 13, 2014, a fire incident occurred at the Boeing Vertol location, covering approximately 9.75 acres. Firefighting teams, including Brush 36, Brush 56, Brush 37, Brush 57, and B-22, responded to the scene. A state plow was called in to assist in creating an initial plow line due to challenging conditions. The area surrounding the Natural Resources Site was cleared, and concerns regarding RAWS tower wiring, power, and battery functionality were addressed. Observations were recorded from the upwind road next to the site.
