  1. Lady Macbeth Persuasive Speech Today I was told by the Weird Sisters that i would become Thane of Cawdor and soon King of Scotland. I would love to become king but the things that i would have to do to achieve this are out of the question. I hope Lady Macbeth does not find out about this because she would do terrible things to get me to be king. I hope to one day be king of Scotland but without hurting anyone. In this scene Macbeth is still frightened about what he has done and "prays that the earth will "hear not [his] steps"(Shakespeare 2.1.30,57) as he completes his plan to kill Duncan.
