  3. Introduction • Needed a lot of experimenting on different batteries • I tried 2 AA batteries, 9V battery, 4 AA batteries, and 4 AA Re-chargeable batteries • 4 AA re-chargeable batteries worked • Gives your device about 3 full charges

  4. Background • I found a new way to charger your device without using the wall or the car • It is portable and small • It runs off of batteries and it is re-useable • Most of my information came from tests and the internet

  5. Materials • 9V battery holder • Battery holder 2 AA • Battery holder 4 AA • Wires • Circuit board with components • Tin can • Voltage tester • Pliers • Soldering gun • Wires cutter • Batteries

  6. Procedures • Assemble circuit board • Solder wires to battery sockets • Test battery socket • Solder USB port to circuit board • Perform another test • Test by plugging in an IPod using a USB cable to see if battery charger works • If it doesn’t work repeat on different batteries
