  5. Ad Hominem • "You can't believe Jack when he says there is a Godbecause he doesn't even have a job." • "He's physically addicted to nicotine. Of course he defends smoking!” • "I can't believe that anyone really listens to what the American Rifle Association has to say. After all, they're just a bunch of ignorant yokels." • "If you weren't so stupid you would have no problem seeing my point of view."

  6. Ad Hominem Bill: "I believe that abortion is morally wrong." Dave: "Of course you would say that, you're a priest." Bill: "What about the arguments I gave to support my position?" Dave: "Those don't count. Like I said, you're a priest, so you have to say that abortion is wrong. Further, you are just a lackey to the Pope, so I can't believe what you say."

  18. Either-Or Fallacy Bill: "Jill and I both support having prayer in public schools." Jill: "Hey, I never said that!" Bill: "You're not an atheist are you Jill?"
