Enhancing School-Based Medicaid Services for Behavioral Health

DESCRIPTION

The project aims to implement and evaluate school-based Medicaid billing for behavioral health (BH) services. Key goals include developing a Medicaid billing toolkit and conducting outreach to interested districts. Since the last BTKH meeting, our team has answered technical questions, prepared a training binder, and checked in with districts on their progress with the expansion into BH services. Next steps involve ongoing outreach to encourage participation, offering technical and implementation assistance, and updating the Lessons Learned Study to include districts’ experiences.
