  2. Collectors who are looking to build a collection of medieval India coins have a lot to explore. • Coins of medieval India can be broadly classified based on the various dynasties that ruled different parts of India. • Mughal and Maratha coins are the most popular in this category.

Delhi Sultan coins from Tughlaq Dynasty, Khilji’s, Sayyids etc are early medieval coins of India. • Hindu Kingdom empires like Chudasama, Katoch, Imperial Chola, Vaghela etc also issued coins of their own. • Later sultans like Malwa Sultans, Sultans of Kashmir, Sultans of Sindh also issued interesting coins of Medieval India.
