  10. Kailash Mansarovar

  11. Introduction: • Mt. Kailash is a peak in the Kailas Range in Tibet. • It lies near the source of some of the longest rivers in Asia: the Indus River, the Sutlej River, the Brahmaputra River and the Karnali River. • It is considered a sacred place in four religions: Bon, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. • The mountain lies near Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshastal in Tibet.

  12. The mountain is known as Kailāsa (कैलास) in Sanskrit The word is derived from the word kēlāsa(केलास) which means “crystal”. • Mt. Kailash has the unique distinction of being the world’s most venerated holy place and at the same time it is the least visited. • Mt. Kailash is seen by no more than a few thousand pilgrims each year, although it is the supremely sacred site of four religions and billions of people.

  13. The four legendary rivers flowing from Kailash within a radius of 50 km then flow to the four directions and divide the world into four regions. • To the south is the sapphire face from where the Karnali river flow. • From the Ruby face on the west flows the Sutlej. • From the gold face on the north, the Indus river flows. • From the crystal face on the east, the Brahmaputra river flows.

  14. Religious Significance • Four major religions pay reverence to this mountain:

  15. In Bön: The Bön, a religion which predates Buddhism in Tibet, maintain that the entire mystical region and the nine-story Swastika Mountain are the seat of all spiritual power.

  16. In Buddhism: • Tantric Buddhists believe that Mount Kailash is the home of the Buddha Demchok who represents supreme bliss.

  17. In Hinduism: • According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva, the destroyer of ignorance and illusion, resides at the summit of a legendary mountain named kailasa, where He sits in a state of perpetual meditation along with His wife Parvati.

  18. In Jainism: • In Jainism, Kailash is also known as Meru Parvat or Sumeru. Ashtapada, the mountain next to Mt. Kailash is the site where the first jain Tirthankara, Rishabhadeva, attained Nirvana/moksa.(Liberation)

  19. Mention of Mt. Kailash and it’s centric view in holy books

  20. One description in the Vishnu Purana of the mountain states that its four faces are made of crystal, ruby, gold and sapphire. It is a pillar of the world and located at the heart of six mountain ranges symbolizing a lotus.

  21. In the Ramcharitmanas, Tulsidas says ‘Param ramya girivar kailasu sada jahan Shiva Uma nivasu’ (1-105) – It is on this most beautiful and prominent mountain Kailash that Shiva and Parvati reside.

  22. In Meghdoot, Kalidasa writes, ‘Kailasasye tridisha vanita darpanasye’.(Purva Megha 59) -- Mt. Kailash is the mirror for celestial ladies. He further describes Mt. Kailash as being one of the four krida shail or sports hills built for Shiva, the other three being Kankadri, Mandar and Gandhanadan.

  23. Mt Kailash, also known as Mt Meru; it is called the navel of the Earth. • The Suryasiddhanta mentions that Mt. Meru (Mt. Kailash also known as Mt. Meru or Sumeru) lies in ‘the middle of the Earth’. • The texts of Yāmal Tantr, mentions “Sumeruḥ Prithvī-madhye shrūyate” (Sumeru is heard to be in the middle of the Earth).

  24. (Earth-circular-every point is a centre)

  25. Mt. Kailash – A Pyramid ?

  26. Russians Reveal • Recently, Russians have put forward that Mt. Kailash is indeed a human-built Pyramid. • The Southern face of the mountain has the pyramidal complex.

  27. Difference in shape, sizes and properties

  28. God Exists? • (The answer resides in your mind.) • The existence of God is mentioned in all the holy books like The Bhagvadgita, The Bible, The Torah, The Tripitakas, The Qur’an(Koran) etc. • Even the Mahabharta is wholly written by the Lord Ganesha Himself. • Whenever we feel helpless or whenever we are in trouble, Instead of thinking a solution we directly pray and ask Him for His blessings. • Whenever we succeed or whenever we achieve something, we thank Him for His Blessings. • It is not mandatory that what can not be seen, does not exist. • If we see through the scientific point of view, whatever can’t satisfy the science and it’s principle, goes beyond science. • Scientific particles can’t be seen through the eyes although they exists. • Miracles by Him proves His Existence.

  29. Few Evidences of His Existence

  30. (Above) Satellite view of Ram Setu,(Upper Right) Picture of Ram Setu and (Below Right) one of the stone of the Ram Setu.

  31. (Upper Left)Sanjivani Mountain from where SanjivaniBooti was acquired to save Lakshmanwhich has many exotic herbs even now. • (Upper Right)Ashok vatika where Ravana held Sita. • Ravana’s Lanka is still there as Sri Lanka.

  32. Bhima's Son Skeleton: Ghatodkach Remains and God's Existence Proof

  33. Unexpected and Extra-ordinary size of human skeleton. • This skeleton is probably of Bhima’s son Ghatotkach.

  34. (Left)It is mentioned that Lord Vishnu sits on the multi-headed snake(Sheshnag). • (Below)Multi-headed snakes(Cobra) are often seen at many places in India.

  35. Mt. Kailash is not the only evidence that makes us feel the existence of GOD.In the pictures below, an “AUM” is clearly visible. • (Below) The mountain is known as Adi-Kailash, the symbol of Hinduism is clearly visible • The symbol is totally natural. • This is obviously not a co-incident. • Whether Miracle or something else, but this symbol shows the presence of GOD.

  36. At Last……. • On the basis of this presentation, it is clear that the written text is not the only source to know about history. • The History recognized on the international level is not the only history, as much part of our golden history is neglected, although the physical evidences are available. • God Exists or not – The answer resides in your mind.Until and Unless you, yourself believe in the existence of God, His presence can’t be felt. • Mt. Kailash is the centre of Earth, especially for those who consider it a sacred place.Otherwise we all are aware that the shape of earth is spherical and any or every point on it is the centre. • Mt. Kailash is obviously a Holy Place and not a Pyramid as we have already proved before.
