  6. Controle We’re in the midst of a general breakdown of all sites of confinement. Control societies are taking over. They are ultrarapid forms of apparently free-floating control.

  7. Disciplinary Societies All sites have a common language, its analogical. Confinement is about molds, different moldings 2nd generation machinery: thermodynamic machines, anti-entropy, anti sabotage. Control Societies It forms a system of varying geometry whose language is digital (CODES). Controls are a modulation, a self-transmuting molding. 3rd generation machinery: anti-noise, piracy and viral contamination. What happens?
