  10. Conclusions • No statistically significant differences in citation patterns • Citation behavior suggests embedded librarian program meets ACRL Standards • Methodology can be useful for assessing Face-to-Face vs. online instruction, and is easily implemented by faculty and librarians

Limitations and Special Considerations • Small Sample Size, only two semesters • Unique citation patterns in MIS course (Current trade journals > peer-reviewed sources in business & technology) • Narrow Research Question • Does NOT explore instruction quality, simply whether students cite similar sources after receiving online vs. face-to-face library instruction
