EMPLOYER SURVEY: CANDIDATE QUALITY • Percentage of employers who believe there is a lack of qualified candidates with disabilities: 66% • Percentage of employers unsure of how to find qualified candidates with disabilities: 39% • Percentage of employers satisfied with the quality of candidates referred by service providers: 13%

EMPLOYER SURVEY: SERVICE PROVIDERS • Percentage of employers not awareof service providers: 30% • Percentage of employers who have used service providers and believe they are effective, very effective, or extremely effective: 33% • Percentage of employers who believe that service providers are not effective at all: 11%

  4. EMPLOYER SURVEY: TOP FIVE SERVICE NEEDS • Finding qualified candidates (63%) • Help with matching job descriptions with specific skill sets (53%) • Job-specific training for employees with disabilities (33%) • Expertise on accommodations and assistive technology (23%) • Job coaching (22%)

SERVICE PROVIDERS: WHAT CAN WE DO? • Increase the pool of qualified candidates - Better prepare candidates for the needs of today’s job market • Increase professionalism - Providers must rethink how they interact with businesses • Stronger use of networks - Job seekers and provider staff both need to integrate themselves within employer networks
