  4. PROCESS ACTIVITY 1: answer the following questions using division. Click here! ACTIVITY 2: answer the following questions using multiplication. Click here! ACTIVITY 3: unscramble the vocabulary worksheet. Once you have unscrambled the words, unscramble the highlighted words to see what the next unit will be covering. Click here!   5. Resources: The multiplication and division worksheets are written on a separate sheet of paper. The scavenger hunt and unscramble worksheet can be printed at home or on school computers.   9. ACTIVITY 1: Division 1.Your school is hosting a fitness challenge.  There are 72 students participating on 8 teams.  If each team has the same number of kids, how many kids are on each team? 2. Your baseball team is having a home-run derby.  If there are 120 total baseballs and 8 hitters, how many baseballs will each player have a chance to hit? 3. If your school has 92 4th graders with 4 teachers, how many students will be in each class?         4. Steve rides his bike 127 miles during a 5 day period.  He rides about the same number of miles during each of the 5 days.  About how many miles does Steve bicycle each day? 5. Jenny is training for a race.  Her goal is to run a total of 80 miles before the race.  If she runs 12 miles a day, how many days will Jenny need to run to reach her goal? 6. Amber has spent a total of 99 minutes playing Wii Sports.  She usually plays about 12 minutes a day.  About how many days has Amber spent playing the game? BONUS 7. Michael’s family usually eats about 437 breakfast bars each month.  The breakfast bars comes in packs of 24. How many boxes of breakfast bars will Michael’s dad need to buy at the start of the month?   10. ACTIVITY 2: Multiplication 1. Lisa has 14 bags of candy.  Each bag has 26 pieces of candy.  How many total pieces of candy does Lisa have?  2. Sally has 27 Brat dolls.  If each doll has 3 different shirts, how many total shirts does Sally have?  3. John’s mom drives him a total of 11 miles to football practice every day.  How many miles does John’s mom drive him to football practice in 1 week? 4. There are 6 lines of people waiting to ride a water-slide at White Water.  There are 64 people in each line.  How many people are in all 6 lines? 5. The Pirate’s Ship ride at Six Flags runs 48 times a day.  The maximum number of people the ride can hold is 73.  How many people ride the Pirate’s Ship in 1 day if it is full each time it runs? 6. The Ferris wheel at Six Flags has 27 seats.  Each seat can hold up to 4 people.  What is the maximum number of people the Ferris wheel can hold at one time? BONUS 7. If SpongeBob can cook 513 Krabby Patties every minute, how many Krabby Patties can SpongeBob cook in 37 minutes? When your finished click here!
