  2. Agenda December 3rd • Bell Ringer • Review Wordsmith (Watch Video) • Review Hercules story (Summary and Four Biggest Events) • Answer handout questions • Comic Strip pg. 554-557 • Photo Journal

  3. (Answer in journal section of notebook) What mythical creature would you be if you could be anything? Why would you choose that creature?

  4. Agenda December 4th • Bell Ringer • Wordsmith Look Over (5 minutes) • Wordsmith Test • Mythology Centers • Hercules/Superman Article with Venn Diagram (if time)

  5. When you finish… • Place your test into the third tray • Pick up your Hercules sheet if you did not finish it and complete it. Story is on page 541 of the Frog Lit. Book • If you finished the Hercules sheet: • Pick up the Mythology Packet from the front table • Use your Lit. Book with the yellow spine and turn the the page number on the top of the Mythology sheet • Begin reading and answering questions

These Behaviors will get You on Mrs. Caraway’s List… • Out of Seat, Bathroom, Talking, Outburst, Rude/Disrespectful to Classmates, Misuse of Time • Attitude , Throwing Objects, Inappropriate Language, Unprepared, Disrespectful to Teacher, Horseplay • Strike One: Name on my LIST • Strike Two: Write a report/ Calling Parent • Strike Three: You’re Out! (of my class, that is)

  7. Agenda December 5th • Bell Ringer • Figurative Language Review- Myth Powerpoint • Give Spelling Words (ten minutes to work on homework activity) • Read Phatheon and Icarus Story • Finish Packet

  8. Spelling Words • December 2-13: forfeit, frequently, fundamental, genuine, gossiping, gradual, graffiti, grammar, guarantee, heroic, hesitate, horrify, hospital, humility

  9. Agenda December 6th • Bell Ringer • Wordsmith Video and Handout • Review Characteristics of Myth (pg. 666- Phaethon) • Finish Mythology Packet- King Midas • King Midas Disney Clip • Closure: Written Summary

  10. End of Day Clean up routine • Do not stand at the door to leave unless you have: • Cleaned up ALL trash on the floor around your desk (even if you did not put it there!) • Clean out the inside of your desk • Place your book inside your desk • Return any materials you have borrowed from me • Place your chair on top of your desk • Make sure your desk is in line • FAILURE TO DO THESE THINGS WILL RESULT IN A MARK!
