  4. Where are we going? Findings from pilots of Multi-Agency Child Protection Inspections Full Inspection programme will of 156 LA areas over three years This will include examination of the extent to which children and young people are detained in police custody following arrests for criminal offences or other measures (e.g. Section 136 Mental Health Act 1983) are detained lawfully, proportionately and with appropriate safeguards. Working with the Office of the Children’s commissioner for England Inspection of police response to Jimmy Savile; Child rape and CSE All HMIC inspection reports are published and PCC’s are required to comment on them.
