Final Preparations for Publishing Party and Writer's Workshop Activities

This Tuesday marks the last two days of our Writer's Workshop before the publishing party. Students are required to ensure that their papers are fully edited and approved by Ms. B by the end of the day. Participants can begin designing their book covers once their narratives are complete. Reminder: the first project, a Tic Tac Toe activity, is due this Friday. In today's session, we will focus on editing techniques to enhance our papers and collaborate with peers for final revisions. Stay on track and remember to update your reading logs!

AGENDA • Do Now • Create Invitation for publishing party • Writer´s Workshop: Final 2 days of class before Publish Party; make sure you are completely EDITED and APPROVED to print by Ms. B • Cover: If you finish your narrative, you may work on a cover • Dear Time: First project is due on Friday!

OBJECTIVEs • Content Objective: • We will be able to understand how to edit a paper in order to make the conventions correct. • Language Objective: • We will be able to edit our own papers and our peer´s papers to help make the story smoother. • We will do final checks before PUBLISHING our paper

  5. Writer´s Workshop • Everyone should have checked their paper by Ms. B by today • Everyone should be working on the final edits to their paper • When you finish, you MUST check your FINAL, TYPED, COPY with Ms. B • Once you are approved to Print, you may work on your COVER

  6. DEAR TIME • Update your reading log • ***REMEMBER: YOUR FIRST TIC TAC TOE PROJECT IS DUE FRIDAY
