Services Commission collaboration grants (on-going for at least 1 more year) • 6 grants totaling $440K: Transcription and captioning, state system-wide AT deployment pilot, PDF remediation software and training, AT and DS social networking web site (Ning? BuddyPress?) • Campus ReadSpeaker pilot deployment • Sponsors: oCIO, New Media, Med Center, Student Life, WAC, and offered through OSU Site Licensed Software • See osu.edu/resources/accessibility/readspeaker.html • Public labs JAWS deployment • All centrally supported public labs on main campus (including libraries) • Investigating Read & Write Gold • A-DRM effort on accessible e-textbooks (part of state/rehab grants) • Participation from NFB, IDPF, K-NFB (Blio), CourseSmart, NISO, Ohio Board of Regents, OhioLINK, Wiley, Pearson, OSU Libraries (and, of course, DS, ADA Co, WAC) • Noteworthy: NFB *very* interested in e-textbooks and believes accessible e-text is legally a fait accompli, ePub2.1 will coincide with DAISY 3 spec, and Adobe Digital Editions, CourseSmart, and Blio all coming soon with mainstream accessible e-readers,
