  3. Introduction • Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3 1887 • He was born in Edinburg Scotland • Alexander Graham Bell was married to Mable Hubard and had no children • He died on august 22nd ,1922 in BeinnBhreag Nova Scotia Canada

Social contribution Alexander Graham Bell had a very big social contribution he invented the telephone .He has turned communication to a completely different understanding .he went from writing a letter to just giving someone a call .This concept at the time wowed anyone who herd about it .Another thing that Alexander g. Bell accomplished was not very well known of him was he helped deaf people speak .his father invented the visible speech program with showed deaf people a movement of the mouth for each sound .He used this and other creative ways to help deaf people speak .

  6. Adolescence When Bell was 1 5 years old he moved to his grandfathers for one year to learn about sound speech .Later he said that this movement was the turning point. Of his life Every day he would go to where his grandfather worked and learned everything he could about sound reproduction and he taught his first class of the deaf . Alexander Graham Bell wasn’t a perfect student and could care less about school also he disliked the Grreek lessons and Latin language his parent made him learn

Timeline • 1862 Travels to London to live with his grandfather. • 1863 Teaches his first class of the deaf at Weston house Academy in Endin, Scotland • 1874 Conceives idea for the telephone and meets Thomas Watson • 1879 Settles with Union for rights to the telephone • 1880 Wins French Volta prize for scientific achievement • 1890 Forms the American Associaton to promote teaching of the deaf. • Accepts the position of president of the national geographic sociatey

  8. childhood Alexander Graham Bells first memory was when he was on a picnic one day with his family and decided to go into a corn field for a while .He went in thinking , thinking about if he could hear the corn grow while he was in their he became lost and fell asleep later that day he was found by his father .This one memory was they first memory he ever had and remembered . While young Alexander Graham Bell worked on several different things with his older brother and father he worked on one pirticularly thing that was farley important part of his career he helped make a fake human mouth this mouth was able to make human words when air is blown up through the fake windpipe and the mouth and toung this was his first invention.
