  8. The California State University System relies primarily on an eligibility index. • 10th & 11th grade grades - AP and Honor extra points • Eligibility index includes: - GPA = 2/3 - ACT or SAT scores = 1/3 (must complete A-G courses)

  9. While UC and private campuses may expect higher GPAs and test scores, they take into consideration other factors as well. • As reported by Karen Kucher in the San Diego Union Tribune, there 14 factors that are considered including: • Advanced Placement courses • Outstanding performances in one or more academic subject areas • Special talents or awards in athletics, performing arts or some other field • Quality of senior year program • Senior class ranking

Compact for Success • Attain a 3.0 CSU GPA at the time you apply to SDSU and graduate HS • Complete all A-G requirement Grades C or better • Satisfy the ELM (Entry Level Math) SAT 550 or higher or ACT 23 • Satisfy the EPT (Entry Placement Test) Score Except or conditionally exempt Pass AP English Language test with 3 or higher • Take SAT AND ACT

  15. According to the CSU budget office tuition has almost doubled in the past five years. It is currently $6,578.
