This training session is designed to empower participants to effectively manage outdoor emergencies for themselves and their group. By the end of the session, everyone will have the skills to identify and utilize six essential items from an emergency kit, implement standard emergency procedures for various scenarios, and, for some, master advanced signaling techniques. Activities will include kit selection, real-life scenarios at Caird Park, and a self-evaluation debrief to reinforce learning and ensure preparedness in outdoor emergencies.
