In an increasingly interconnected world, it is vital for Australians to become 'Asia-literate' by building strong relationships with Asia, particularly with countries like India and China. This educational initiative aims to equip young Australians with foundational knowledge, skills, and understandings of the diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian nations. By fostering intercultural understanding, educators can help students become successful learners, confident individuals, and informed citizens, capable of engaging across cultures and contributing positively to society.
