Steering Committee Roles & Responsibilities • Presidents Assembly Steering Committee is responsible for: • Serving as “voice of the chapters” on the National Board and facilitating communications between National and the chapters • Facilitating chapter collaboration/information sharing via webinars & meetings at national conferences • Creating a community of chapter leaders • Helping chapter leaders with strategic planning, problem resolution, etc.

CHAPTER ADMINISTRATION ISSUES • New Board Roster Forms are in Chapter Resource Center under “Forms and Templates” • Designate chapter administrator for web access • Designate recipient of chapter rebate reports • Complete and send to chapterservices@nawbo.org • D&O Insurance Renewal Forms have been sent out – premium is due by August 31. Please contact Chapter Services at chapterservices@nawbo.org if you have not received it. • Membership applications – when applications are mailed, do not attach post-it notes to the check. If you need to send a note, please do it on a separate piece of paper. Post-its are often lost. • All chapter board members must be current • with membership dues!!!!

National NAWBO Update • President/CEO SearchImpressive Candidates have been interviewed and negotiations are underway with our top candidate • Washington, DC Office Once new CEO is in place we will reestablish our physical office in DC • NAWBO Entrepreneur Institute Accelerated Growth Program was a great success with both our women-business owner participants and our sponsor Wells Fargo. We are looking forward to future educational programming.
