The largest campus is 30 minutes from the heart of downtown Vancouver, a spectacular location that is a 'must-see' for any visitor to the city — where snow-capped mountains meet ocean, and breathtaking vistas greet you around every corner. 5. Overall, the University of British Columbia is a great environment both for education and athletics. I was fortunate to watch one of UBC’s thunderbirds teams play. The UBC soccer team is a bunch of great players. I enjoyed being in the stadium and participating the great environment. I spent the day looking around the campus trying to get a real sense of the University. I visited numerous sites such as the Sauder, Museum of Anthropology and many different interesting sites. One of my family friends son is living in residence so I spent a bit of time hanging out with him. Resistance is a really cool atmosphere were students are all together under one roof. There were many different internationals students to whom I spoke to. I visited later on that day the recreation sites and gymnasiums. The Vancouver campus is very unique and seems like a great place to study. The university offers so many different resources for it’s students. Checking out the university of British Columbia really brought me into thinking of potential universities in the future years. UBC is now one of the best schools in Canada and in North America. It would be an honor studying there. Summary
