2012-2013 REWARDs

North Laurel Middle School is dedicated to improving attendance with a goal of 95%, up from 93.44% last year. Join our effort to beat South's attendance record and enjoy rewards for coming to school every day! Monthly homeroom competitions will reward the best attendance with a pizza, pop, and popcorn party. Plus, we have exciting giveaways each 9 weeks and at the end of the semester for students exceeding expectations. Participate to earn chances to win fun prizes like iPods and movie passes! Let's show our Jaguar Pride!

  2. + YOU (NLMS STUDENTS) GREAT ATTENDANCE = FIELD CELEBRATION!

  3. What is our school goal? • 95% attendance (we were at 93.44% last year) • OR • Beating South’s yearly attendance (FYI- last year they had 93.27%- meaning we beat them BUT only by the hair of our chinny chin, chin.) • What can you do? • COME TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY!

  4. HOMEROOM ATTENDANCE COMPETITION • Each month, we will reward the homeroom in EACH GRADE with the HIGHEST PERCENTAGE of attendance with a pizza, pop, and popcorn party! • Tell those friends of yours to come to school so you can eat good food!

  5. 9 WEEKS GIVEAWAYSWHO: for students exceeding school expectations • WHAT: 1 iPod Nano, movie passes, YSC worker passes, Library worker passes • HOW: Your name will be entered to win IF: • You have no write ups during that 9 weeks • An additional time for each Gold Card you receive

  6. SEMESTER GIVEAWAYS • WHAT? iPOD TOUCH • WHO? Entered to win if you have had not received any write ups for the whole semester.
