LEDA Laboratory for Electronic Design Automation LEDA has been founded in 1987 as the first research laboratory at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering , University of Niš , Serbia. · Integrated circuits design · Electronic design automation (including simulation tool Research results are related to four development , layout design automation, and testing) main fields: · Artificial neural networks application in electronic modeling · Sustainable design of electronic products We are proud to claim that LEDA was the first to apply: INTEGRATED CIRCUIT DESIGN, UNIX, C/C++ , TCP/IP, NEURAL NETWORKS, VHDL, CADENCE, BEOWULF CLUSTER TECHNOLOGY, VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTATION at Faculty of Electronic Engineerin g LEDA is a part of the research institute at The Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš http://leda.elfak.ni.ac.yu

LEDA projects • IMPEG • Energy data accuracy: Meets IEC 1036 (classes 1 and 2) and IEC 687 (classes 0,2 S and 0,5 S) • On-chip functions: Active, Reactive and Apparent Power and Energy Measurement, Power Factor, Frequency, IRMS and VRMS, energy to pulse-rate conversion • On-chip bandgap reference 1.205 V • Calibration of Gain and Phase Error • Measurement Bandwidth of 1800Hz • Built-in self test • Simple three wire serial interface • Power supply VA=VD=3.3 V • Dynamic range of 10000:1 in current and more than 100:1 in voltage channel IMPEG solid state energy meter was developed and prototyped under financial support of Serbian Ministry of Science http://leda.elfak.ni.ac.yu
