Graduation 2013: Essential Details for Seniors

Congratulations, Class of 2013! To walk in the graduation ceremony, ensure all holds are cleared. This includes returning textbooks, laptops, and settling financial obligations. Remember, you won't receive your seating assignment until all dues are paid! Join us at Reliant Stadium—arrive no earlier than 1:45 PM. Dress professionally: boys should wear collared shirts and slacks, while girls should opt for dresses or nice pants. Be prepared for traffic and remember, emotions will run high. You're a graduate—celebrate this achievement with poise!

  1. Graduation 2013! Way to GO Seniors! Congratulations!

  2. So, You want to Walk? • YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR HOLDS PAID • Textbooks (Fields/Cammack) • Laptops (Lewis/GERC) • Financial obligations; lab fines/fees, etc. (Pham/Whitters) • You will NOT receive your seating assignment until this is taken care of!

  3. Where’s the party? • Reliant Stadium • Arrive NO EARLIER than 1:45 PM • Park in the BLUE or ORANGE parking lot (off of Kirby) • Commencement ceremonies will begin at 3:00 PM

  4. Do’s Boys Collared Shirt with tie Slacks or dress pants Nice dress shoes Clean Shaven Girls Dresses or Nice Slacks Nice dress shoes Don’ts Facial Piercings Facial hair Visible tattoos Failure to abide by dress code may case you not to participate in graduation ceremonies. What to wear...or not…

  5. What to expect • TRAFFIC!!!! • Remember, you are not the only baby graduating that day…… • $10.00 for parking • The stadium is HUGE…… • You are a graduate now….be on your BEST behavior. • Emotions run high….stay calm and be happy, you made it!!!!

  6. Senior Awards Ceremony Today – Wednesday at 1:00 Dress Nicely

  7. Thursday, 8:00 AM Practice will begin at 8:00 AM. You will pick up your seating cards and then get in line to enter the gym. (so, take care of your holds/fees/fines) We will go over specifics regarding the commencement exercise at this time!
