Network-Adaptive Media Transport for Mobile P2P Streaming in Multi-Hop Wireless Networks
This research focuses on optimizing media transport in ad-hoc mesh networks with mobile nodes, emphasizing spatial-temporal efficiency in opportunistic peer-to-peer (P2P) streaming. We explore cross-layer adaptive strategies that enhance one-to-many and one-to-one media delivery over complex multi-hop wireless environments. Our collaborative efforts within the GTI (MOVi) and NRF projects enable the development of innovative solutions that cater to the unique challenges posed by mobile devices and dynamic network conditions.
