Vidare ger Eizo vid subpixelfel (röd eller grön eller blå) garanti som i samtliga fall överträffar ISO standarden 13406-2 klass II.

Pixel - Definition 1 pixel är en hel bildpunkt uppbyggd av tre delpunkter/subpixlar placerade intill varandra:En vit pixel består av Röd + Grön + Blå subpixel Antalet pixlar på en LCD-skärm med upplösningen:1280 x 1024 är 1 310 720 stycken1 subpixlel är 1 röd, grön eller blå delpunkt. Antalet subpixlar på en LCD-panel med upplösningen: 1280 x 1024 x 3 är 3 932 160 stycken

Policy vid eventuella Pixelfel Vi definierar tre olika typer av pixelfel som kan finnas på en LCD-skärm Typ 1 Vita punkter på svart bakgrund eller svarta punkter på vit bakgrund. 1 pixel / 3 subpixlar intill varandra fungerar inte korrekt. Typ 2 Lysande punkter på svart bakgrund. En del av pixeln är alltid ljus (röd, grön eller blå). Typ 3 Svarta punkter på färgad bakgrund. En del av pixeln är alltid mörk. Skärmar som har fler pixelfel än max-gräns definierad nedan omfattas av garanti.

Pixelfel - Sammanfattning - EIZO accepterar 0 pixelfel - EIZO accepterar max 2 ljusa subpixelfel - EIZO accepterar max 5 ljusa + mörka subpixelfel - ISO standarden, ISO 13406-2 accepterar upp till 4 pixelfel (hela punkter) samt upp till 20 subpixelfel på en skärm med 1600x1200 punkters upplösning.
