  1. Job Agency for the Elderly How the specialist carries out research

  2. How can the specialist help? The specialist’s job is to use their contacts to find the most ideal job for the person in hand. This may mean ringing or emailing various agencies or companies and asking them about the job descriptions to see if the elderly person’s criteria fits the job. (See more next page)

  3. The criteria of the customer Various elderly people will have varying difficulties as they get older. The specialist needs to know this criteria so they can find the best job for them. It may include back problems, walking problems, arthritis, hearing difficulties etc.

  4. Continued… The specialist needs to realise these problems and ask the companies whether or not their jobs can accommodate the elderly people with these problems in mind. For example, a job that includes lifting would not be ideal for a man with back problems.
