  2. Derrick Shelby was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) in 2012. He signed a three-year UFDA contract with the Dolphins, and made the team each of those three years. Following the end of his third season, Shelby signed a one-year tender deal with Miami. During that fourth year, Shelby enjoyed the opportunity to be on the field quite a bit more than the previous three.

  3. Derrick Shelby - Undrafted Free Agent Derrick Shelby is currently playing his sixth year as a member of the National Football League. Though he started his career as an Undrafted Free Agent (UFDA) with the Miami Dolphins, Shelby currently plays the reigning NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons. Shelby is a Defensive End in the midst of his second season with the Falcons, and is enjoying every opportunity he gets to be a difference maker on the field.

Derrick Shelby is a football player in the National Football League. A player on the Atlanta Falcons squad, Shelby has played the position of Defensive End for his entire career.

  5. Derrick Shelby - Second Year with Atlanta Derrick Shelby is now in his second year with the Atlanta Falcons, the reigning NFC Champs. Previously an Undrafted Free Agent with the Miami Dolphins, Shelby is now enjoying the opportunity to play in the competitive NFC South, and is hopeful for another successful Atlanta playoff run following the end of the 2017 regular season. Shelby plays Defensive End, and hopes to be a contributor to the Atlanta defensive unit well into the future.

Currently a player with the Atlanta Falcons, Shelby began his professional football career with the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of the Dolphins for four years, and was signed by Atlanta during the offseason that followed his last year with Miami. Shelby signed a four-year deal to play in Atlanta, and is now enjoying his second season with the team.

  7. Derrick Shelby - Four Years with Miami Derrick Shelby spent the first part of his professional football career with the Miami Dolphins. His first three seasons were played under an Undrafted Free Agent contract, though his fourth season with the team was played under a one-year tender deal. During his fourth Dolphins’ season, Shelby got the opportunity to play much more than in the previous three, which earned him the attention of the Atlanta Falcons. He is now in his second year with Atlanta.
