  3. Family • My immediate family consists of my mom, Penny; my dad, Brad; my brother, Jonathon and myself. • As a family, we enjoy celebrating several holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, with other family members.

Hobbies/ Activities • As a student at the University of South Dakota, I am a member of several on-campus activities, such as: Marching Band Concert Choir Symphony Orchestra • In my spare time, I also enjoy several hobbies, which include: Playing the flute and piano Scrapbooking Spending time with friends and family

  7. Professional Goals After graduating from the University of South Dakota, I hope to become an elementary music teacher. After spending some time in the classroom, I hope to return to school to receive a masters degree. Even after completing both of these degrees, I hope to continue to learn all I can about music while teaching.

  8. What The Future Holds • Within the next ten years, I hope to have accomplished several personal, academic, and occupational milestones: • Personal: I hope to have a family of my own, complete with a loving husband and children. • Academic: I hope to have either obtained a master’s degree in music or be close to completing this course of study. • Occupational: I hope to still be teaching elementary music, although I would enjoy teaching private lessons as well.
