Comprehensive Teaching Assistant Training Guidelines and Best Practices
This document outlines essential guidelines for Teaching Assistants (TAs) at RSMAS, led by Johnna Infanti, Kristine Stump, and Holly Perryman. The training session runs from August 20 to August 23, 2012. All TAs must complete online training and meet with faculty before classes commence. Responsibilities include maintaining office hours, participating in at least two teaching activities, and performing evaluations with instructors mid-semester and at the end. Additionally, TAs are eligible for year-end awards, encouraging professional growth through leadership opportunities in subsequent training sessions.
