  2. Size The Tawny owl’s size is 38cm /15 inches long.

  3. Habitat • The tawny owl lives all over the U.K. but it’s not found in Ireland and it mainly lives in woodland and it likes wooded gardens.

  4. When seen and Voice • The tawny owl is seen at night and it’s seen all year round. Its voice is the classic hoot and varied kewick, kvick.

  5. Feeding • The tawny owl feeds on many different things such as voles, mice, rats, small birds, frogs and worms etc….

  6. Breeding • The tawny owl breeds 2-4 eggs in a hollow tree. Sometimes it even breeds in an old crows nest and it also uses no nesting material.
