  2. What it looks like • A lion is brown it is one soled color and that’s brown. Male lions have a large mane around their neck it protects it’s neck when someone or something try’s to bite it’s neck. Lions have sharp teeth and claws that helps them hunt. A lions brain is the size of a tense ball. Male lions can weigh up to 330 to 440 lb female lions can weigh up to 265 to 350 lb.

  3. Where it lives Lions can live all over Africa and India. Sadly lions have been hunted by people so they do not live in places that they used to live in. lions live in the grass lands of Africa and India.

  4. Life cycle A female lion gives birth to two to three cubs. A lion can live in the wild 15 years but it can live as many as 25 years at a zoo. Baby lions are born alive.

  5. Does it have prey or predators? Prey Giraffe Elephant Hippopotamus Buffalos Zebras Wildebeest Springbok And baboon • Predators • humans

  6. Interesting facts • Lions can run at speeds like 30 miles an hour and leap 30 feet 9m that is almost as long as a bus. Lions have pads under their paws which help them creep up on their prey.
