  3. What does MPI/Warp do ? • Determine part shrinkage and warpage based upon filling and cooling process • Identify cause of warpage using single variate and sensitivity analyses • Differential Cooling • Molecular / Fiber Orientation • Material Shrinkage • Single or multi-cavity molds

  4. Residual Stress Analysis • Calculates Residual Stress from filling, packing • Visualize frozen-in stress through part thickness • Determine stress prior to and after ejection • Residual stress values used to calculate final part shape
