  2. What can we do in London? London is the capital city of England and of the United Kingdom. It’s situatedby the River Thames. The city attracts about 30 milliontourists from all overthe world.There are many fantastic shops, restaurants and a lot of entertaining places to go like Harry Potter Land, which is very famous in this city.

  3. Entertainment Harry Potter Land If you’ve ever seen the most succesful Harry Potter film and you like it, you must visit the most incredible and magical place where this popular film was filmed and you can discover interesting things that you couldn’t see in the film.

  4. Entertainment The National Gallery This is the Art Gallery, in the north of Trafalgar Square. In the Gallerythere is a collection of paintingsfrom the 1250 to 1900. The largestcollection is about British impressionistVincent van Gogh and his severalworks of art. This is a gallery of the state, availablefree of charge(except for temporaryexhibitions), whichincludes about 2300 works of art.

  5. Entertainment London Dungeon is a famous horror museum. It is located near the London Bridge Station on the south bank of the Thames.

  6. Have you ever wanted to be a pilot or have a chance to control the plane? You can control the plane, be a Captain of a Boeing 737 Flight simulator and realise that proffesional pilots can train on it.

  7. LondonEye Entertainment It is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England. London Eye is 135 metres tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres.

  8. London’s transport is a centre of many routes,rail and air links. There are many motorways and railway lines. London’s internal transport system is administered by its executive agency called London Transport.

  9. The DocklandLight RailwayandTrams Although it is part of the tube system it’s only about 20 years old. It’s a light rapid transport system which means that trains are short, frequent, centrally operated and mostly run at high levels not in tunnels. The tram system in London was the oldest in the world dating back to early Victorian time and still remains the largest tram network. A new tram system was opened in 2000.   10. Transport The London Underground It is the world’s oldest underground railway. Its name is usually shortened to the „Underground” or „the Tube”. The underground is about 250 miles long and 57% of the network is above the ground. There are 270 stations and the Tube carries over one billion passengers every year.

  11. Buses Transport London transport has special buses for tourists. The bus takes visitors to some of the famous places in London. The tourist buses leave from Piccadilly circus, Victoria Station or Marble Arch.

  12. London Landmarks There are so many landmarks in London!They are very thrilling and fascinating. Tourists love going there and taking photos, because it’s a beautiful souvenir from this amazing city.

  13. The Buckingham Palace Landmarks It’s an official residence of the British monarchs;it’s the biggest palace in the world,which still functions.There are 600 rooms. It came into existence in 1703.The Palace was a seat of George III (but George IV built more and more rooms).In 1837 it became the residence of the British monarchs.

  14. The Big Ben-Elizabeth’s Tower Landmarks It is a neogothic watchtower in London. At the beginning the name Big Ben stood for the bell from Stephen’s Tower, but nowdays it means both the bell and the tower itself. It’s a symbol of Great Britain. The tower is 96,3 m high and the dial on the watch is 7 metres long in diameter.

  15. The Tower of London Landmarks The Tower of London is a complex of several buildings set within two rings of defensive walls. It is adjacent to the River Thames and the Tower Bridge.

  16. The British Museum Entertainment The British Museum is a museum of human history and culture. It was the first museum in the world. It was established in 1753 during the reign of King George II. It’s located in Bloomsbury,London.
