Program Objectives • Students will be able to identify between nutrient dense and calorie dense foods when given examples of each on paper with 80% accuracy. • Students will be able to identify what foods belong to each food group when given a matching activity on food groups with 80% accuracy.

  3. Program Evaluation • We will determine whether our objectives have been met through: • Worksheets with matching exercises on Go, Slow, Whoa foods and food groups

  4. Program Lesson Plan • Introduction – Approx. 2min • Introduce our group • Tell purpose of our lesson (why we are teaching) • Lesson\PowerPoint Presentation –Approx. 13min • List objectives • Advantages of eating healthy • My Plate • Go, Slow, Whoa foods • Group Game –Approx. 10min • Worksheets –Approx. 10min • Go, Slow, Whoa foods • Food groups

  5. Evaluation of Results • For the Go, Slow, Whoa foods worksheet, 39 out of 40 students completed it correctly, giving an accuracy percentage of 97.5%. • For the MyPlate worksheet on food groups, 33 out of 40 students completed it correctly, giving an accuracy percentage of 82.5%. • We accomplished both of our objectives for this nutrition education program!
