5. Other WAP-services (1) • Services • Here you can easily find both Sonera´s and our partners services. Furthermore, the menu has been structured so that it is easy to find also other familiar WAP-services (open) from Internet such as newspapers, games and other public and information services. You can search for WAP-services either under certain category or with a certain key word with a search engine. However, we have specified certain key services beforehand so it is not possible to search just any kind of WAP-service found on internet. • At the moment there are 12 partners that have signed a contract with Sonera: Aktivist, Finnair, Genimap, Keltaiset sivut, Kiasma, Kinopalatsi, Mobile Avenue, Tjäreborg, Veikkaus, Medixine (Verkkoklinikka), Weather Proof (Ilmatieteenlaitos) and zed. • New Services • In this menu we introduce both Sonera´s and our partners´ newest services. How to use WAP-services? • General • - Requires a mobile device that supports the WAP-protocol e.g. Nokia 3330, 6210, 6250, • 7110, 8310 OR Ericsson R320, R380, T65, T68 OR Siemens C35, S35, SL45, S45 jne. • - When using via GSM(CSD), it is not needed to get a new subscription or have an add-on • feature connected • Using WAP via GSM- or GPRS-data • - WAP-services can be used via GSM(CSD)- or GPRS-data, the difference between these • two is that, in order to use WAP via GPRS you need a spesific GPRS-capable mobile • device and to add a GPRS-feature on to your subscription • - Sonera´s WAP-settings need to be saved on your mobile phone • Sonera Gateway dial-up number +358 209927 • Dial-up Charges (GSM-data) for Sonera´s WAP gateway • - The Data phonecall: 0,68mk/call + 0,99mk/min • Charges via GPRS • - Open Data: Connection fee 48,80 (€8,21 euroa), monthly charge 36,27 (6,10 euroa) • - Pro Data: Connection fee 48,80 (€8,21 euroa), monthly charge 108,81 (18,30 euroa) • Muuta • - Services programmed with WML-language • - Services can contain both text and simple pictures

WAP-settings (2) • Mobile device spesific instructions for WAP-settings: • More detailed intructions for manual and OTA-settings are found on internet: http://www.sonera.net/wapasetukset/ • In Aslanet-intranet, look up ”Laitteet” • OTA-settings: • Nokia 3330, 6210, 6250, 7110 ja 8310 -> WAPNOKIA • Ericsson R320s, A2628s, T20s, T29s, T65 ja T68 -> WAP ERICSSON • Sending these SMS key words will automatically get you the settings for both GSM- and GPRS-data. The mobile device itself then chooses, as it sees it best, the right settings to be activated. (GPRS-capable devices choose automatically GPRS-data settings to be activated) • OnlyGSM-data settings for Nokia´s WAP-phones -> WAP

FAQ • Sonera´s WAP Gateway´s dial-up number is an information number so to be able to use WAP-services the user can`t have the Barring of calls to information numbers on. • It is possible to use both Sonera´s and other service providers´ open WAP-services via Sonera´s Gateway (IP-address 195.156.25.4) • Some other service providers´ services are available only via their own WAP-gateway. For example, in order for you to use different banking services, you need that Bank´s own WAP-settings. • If you use WAP via other service provider´s WAP gateway such as banks like Merita, or e.g. Nokia, the dial-up charge is 0,68 mk/phonecall + subscription based mobilephone fee OR prices based on Multi Data service. • Using WAP-services overseas is not guaranteed because it is not possible to use services via WAP Gateway without MSISDN (mobile phone number) and not always this is delivered all the way to Finland (Phone call is not connected at all) • Some mobile devices supports both GSM (data call) and GPRS such as Motorola Timeport 260, Nokia 8310 - some support only data call like e.g. Nokia 3330, 6210, 7110, Siemens C35
