  6. Other Issues • North Entrance Access… From Ben… “I think the door at the north end of the building should be unlocked during the day. We voted on this at a division meeting ca. 1998, and the decision was to leave it unlocked. I don't think locking the door during the day will do anything for security, because students will have access to all the same areas either way. Student traffic in the faculty office area is a good thing, because students are the reason the school exists, and the more contact we have with them, the better. It's also a pain to have to come in and out that door all day when it's locked….”
