Led by Abraham Patterson and supported by the National Council La Raza (NCLR), the study reveals alarming statistics from 2000, showing that 13% of the Hispanic population faced unreasonable incarceration. The NCLR's advocacy aims to identify these injustices and encourage necessary reforms by urging the White House to take action through a proposed survey on this critical issue.
