  4. If I get a think time, I need to

  5. take a pen/pencil and go to Mrs. Butler’s or Ms. Cisneros’ classroom

  6. If I need to leave the room for any reason I should

  7. Ask permission, and take the hall pass

  8. If I want to sharpen my pencil I should

  9. Ask first and then sharpen my pencil

  10. If I need to throw away trash I should

  11. Walk over and put it in the trash can or recycle box

  12. Mrs. Avery will tell us it is time to clean up by

  13. Telling us to clean up

  14. In the classroom I can touch, but cannot touch

  15. I can touch the computers, the books, the supplies in the supply center, and my belongings. • I cannot touch Mrs. Avery’s belongings (i.e.: her laptop, Ipad, anything behind her desk, the control panels, the call button, or anything by the phone), or the belongings of others

  16. Students who need to borrow a pencil, use a stapler, or need an extra sheet of paper will find these

  17. In the Student Supply Center

  18. Attendance will be taken according to the

  19. Seating chart

  20. To make a comment, or ask a question during class, students should

  21. Raise their hand

  22. The noise levels in the classroom are

  23. 0-Silence is Golden: No one is talking • 1-Spy Talk: Whispering, only 1 person can hear you • 2-Low Flow: Only the group can hear you • 3-Formal Normal: Normal conversation voice • 4-Loud Crowd: Presenting Voice. Everyone can hear you

  26. To turn in homework I should

  27. Put my homework in my class “in” box. If it is late, I need to turn it in to the late/make up basket.

  28. When Mrs. Avery needs to get the attention of the class during group work, I will hear the attention signals

  29. the knocking of the gavel and “order in the court”

  30. When I am absent

  31. I need to check the calendar and the absent files before I talk to Mrs. Avery

  32. If I need extra help

  33. Ask my tribe and/or Mrs. Avery

  34. To contact Mrs. Avery, I need to

  35. Email her, or come in before or after school

  36. When I come to class, I need to have

  37. My binder, a book, and a pen and pencil

  38. Each quarter I will be required to complete

  39. A reading log and a book project
