The New Deal, introduced by Abby Schechinger, aimed to support unemployed individuals during its implementation. Within just four years, it created 6 million jobs for the unemployed, departing from laissez-faire policies. Key initiatives included the Farm Tenancy Act, Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), and Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA), which provided jobs, shelter, and aid to low-income farmers and single men. Other programs such as the Public Works Administration (PWA) and National Youth Administration (NYA) focused on infrastructure and education, helping millions regain hope and stability.
