WELCOME BACK!. 2012-2013 ACADEMIC YEAR. OUR FINAL YEAR. DO YOU AGREE WITH THESE STATEMENTS?. 2nd Bachillerato is a tough year . The only objective in 2B is to prepare the university entry exam ( the so- called PAEG exam ). This is the most important of all academic years .

DO YOU AGREE WITH THESE STATEMENTS? • 2nd Bachillerato is a toughyear. • Theonlyobjective in 2B isto prepare theuniversityentryexam (the so-called PAEG exam). • Thisisthemostimportant of allacademicyears. • Ifyoufailonesubjectyou can havethe diploma. • Ifyouparticipate in theMayfestivities, youmaynotmakeittothe PAEG.

  3. HOW WILL YOU BE GRADED THIS YEAR? • Attitude, homework, classwork, punctuality and attendance: 10 % • Oral: 10 % • Projects: 15 % • Exams: 65 %

  4. WHAT WILL THE PAEG EXAM BE LIKE? • Unfortunately, wedon’tknowyetforsure. • There are twopossibilities: • Theexamwehavehad up tonow: reading, phonetics, writing and rephrasing. • The new exam: listening, speaking, writing, reading and grammar.

  5. EVALUATION DATES • 1st term: December 17th. • 2nd term: March 12th. • 3rd term: May 23rd.

  6. How can I recuperate English if I failed last year? • By getting a 5 in the second term and having worked in all aspects (classwork, homework, projects…), or… • By getting a pass in a special exam that will take place at the end of April, or… • By getting a pass in 2ndBachillerato at the end of the year.
